An 0-10 start to conference play didn’t bode well for Penn State basketball, but head coach Patrick Chambers made sure that his team continued to fight hard until the end. The Nittany Lions ended the regular season winning seven of their final 10 games and even earned a bye in the first round of the 2019 Big Ten Basketball Tournament.
There’s likely no hope of a postseason for the Nittany Lions once the Big Ten Tournament is over, but a miraculous run ending in a championship would put Penn State improbably into the NCAA Tournament.
The Nittany Lions finished the year with an overall record of 14-17, including 7-13 in the conference.
