Penn State Basketball: Nittany Lions Fall Short vs. Ohio State in Big Ten Tournament

Head coach Patrick Chambers certainly had his Nittany Lions ready to pull off an upset in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. Penn State came out firing on all cylinders in the first half and held the lead at the break. Unfortunately, things went south for the Nittany Lions and they eventually fell short against Ohio State by a score of 79-75.

The Nittany Lions, plagued by poor shooting all season, were red-hot from behind the arc to start the game, shooting 58 percent from three-point land in the first half. Shep Garner and Brandon Taylor both had 12 points in the half, and Penn State took a three-point lead into the break.
