Playing Sunday night without head coach Patrick Chambers, Penn State basketball continued its season struggles. The Nittany Lions were dominated right from the start by the No. 22 Wisconsin Badgers. When the dust cleared at the Bryce Jordan Center, Penn State found itself with an ugly 71-52 defeat.
The Nittany Lions were playing without their head coach, who was suspended one game by the university for shoving freshman Myles Dread during Thursday’s loss at Michigan.
Penn State stayed with the Badgers early, but quickly fell behind a few minutes into the game and went into halftime down by 10 points.
