Penn State head men’s basketball coach Patrick Chambers has been suspended for one game due to an incident that occurred during Thursday night’s loss at Michigan. Chambers was caught on the national ESPN broadcast shoving freshman Myles Dread during a timeout.

Dread is a talented freshman who is averaging eight points a game so far this season.

Chambers addressed the issue in his postgame press conference and apologized for his actions. “I apologize to him. I was just trying to challenge him, just trying to get the best out of him, and hopefully I’ll do it differently next time,” Chambers said.
