In the newly formatted 12-team Big Ten Tournament, Penn State will face Washington and USC in pool play.
The Nittany Lions received the No. 9 seed in the Big Ten and will face the No. 5 Huskies and the No. 4 Trojans for a chance to advance to the semifinals out of Pool D.
The blue and white open the tournament against Washington at 3 p.m. Wednesday before returning the next day to take on USC at 3 p.m. Both games will be broadcasted on Big Ten Network.
Penn State has had success under coach Mike Gambino in the Big Ten Tournament as a low-seeded team.
