Penn State baseball edged by Nebraska in series opener

Penn State played its first game of the three-game series with Nebraska on Friday afternoon and Dante Biasi delivered another one of his typical stellar starts.

But it wasn't enough.

Despite his strong outing, the Nittany Lions fell to the Cornhuskers by a final of 3-2 at Medlar Field.

Offensively, the Nittany Lions started the game hot, getting two runs off four hits in the bottom of the first inning.

Mason Nadeau got it started with a single to center field, followed by a single by Jordan Bowersox. Parker Hendershot then came up and singled, knocking in Nadeau to put the Nittany Lions on the board.
