Penn State and the NFL draft: A look back at the Lions' superb 1996 class

Penn State running back Mike Archie was the 10th and final Lion picked in the 1996 NFL draft. Archie was a seventh-round selection of the Houston Oilers, No. 218 overall. Archie played three seasons with Houston/Tennessee.

Penn State's last unbeaten team, the 1994 bunch that defeated Oregon in the Rose Bowl, had a tremendous array of offensive talent. There were a few good defensive players but the strength of the team was an incredible offense.
