Despite entering the game as the higher seed, Penn State was an underdog against two-time defending champion Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon in Annapolis.
After Penn State started the game with a quick 2-0 lead, the Irish blew the game open in the second quarter with five straight goals and swelled the lead to 12-6 midway through the third quarter.
