While legendary running back Curt Warner wore the jersey in the 1980’s, the number 25 has been somewhat cursed in the past decade at Penn State, with Silas Redd and Brelin Faison-Walden both transferring from the university prior to the end of their careers. The number is currently worn by redshirt freshman cornerback Daequan Hardy, who played in two games last season but did not record any statistics.
