Penn State opens the season in 84 days at Beaver Stadium against Nevada.
The Nittany Lions have a wide receiver wearing No. 84 who will likely see some snaps, as redshirt freshman Peter Gonzalez will look to break onto the field for the first time.
Meanwhile, a lot of attention will be paid to another receiver as transfer Trebor Peña figures heavily into Penn State’s passing plans in 2025.
Last year at Syracuse, Peña led the ACC with 84 catches. Playing in that pass-heavy Orange offense, Peña had nearly 1,000 yards of receiving and nine touchdowns.
