Only “The Longest Field Goal” Until Penn State Football

Related Topics: Jordan Stout, Penn State

Jordan Stout was a monster kicker for Penn State. He started off as a kickoff specialist, then proceeded to take over kicking duties as well. By the time he left Penn State, he was handling kickoffs, field goals, and punts, becoming the first player to do so since the 1970s.

One of his most memorable moments came in 2019, when, in a contested game against Pitt, Stout hit a 57-yarder to tie the game, which at the time was a 10-7 deficit in favor of the Panthers.

In a game that was decided by a single possession, Stout’s amazing leg was instrumental in giving Penn State the victory, helping the Lions maintain bragging rights in a rivalry that spans a century, but will remain dormant for the foreseeable future.
