Only The Double-Pass Touchdown Against USC Until Penn State Football

With just a little over a month to go until Penn State kicks off its 2025 campaign against Nevada, we look back upon one of the most memorable plays from the 2024 season...I’m talking of course, about the 32-yard double-pass touchdown against USC.

Entering the start of the third quarter trailing 20-6 and desperately needing a spark offensively, offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki dialed up a play called “Kendall Toole”, named after a Peloton instructor that he and offensive line coach Phil Trautwein would take a (virtual) biking class with every Monday. The result was Tyler Warren hiking the ball to Beau Pribula, who threw a screen pass to Drew Allar, who then launched one towards the end zone towards a streaking Warren, who made a spectacular leaping touchdown grab to bring the team to life.
