Only the 66 Points Scored on Maryland in 2017 Until Penn State Football

Penn State had one more challenge on its way to a New Year’s Six appearance and a 10-win regular season in 2017 — a trip to Maryland to close out the regular season.

Fortunately, the Terps did not put up much of a fight in what would turn out the be the largest margin of victory for Penn State over a Big Ten opponent. Trace McSorley and Tommy Stevens each had a rushing touchdown in the first quarter to build a 14-0 lead, and the scoring never really stopped from there. Stevens would have one of the best games of his career, finishing with three scores and leading the team with 113 rushing yards — ahead of McSorley, Saquon Barkley and Miles Sanders.
