We're 76 days away, y'all.
May 6, 2014.
That was the day Sterling Jenkins did what everyone expected: commit to James Franklin and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Sure, he fell a bit in the various recruiting services after he committed, but he was still the staff's biggest recruiting win in the 2015 class, as he had scholarship offers from Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and several other major programs. He also, obviously, filled a big need along the offensive line, and has "star left tackle" written all over him.
Of course, Jenkins is going to redshirt this year, and he probably won't play in 2016, either – we've heard it a million times, how Franklin and Herb Hand want guys to take two years to bulk up and learn the position at the college level.
