We’re back to honoring current players on the roster, as we pay homage to our favorite Australian punter in Riley Thompson. In his entire collegiate career, including his time at Florida Atlantic, where he spent his first year before transferring to Penn State, Thompson has put 60 punts inside an opponent’s red zone, including 20 of them inside an opponent’s 10-yard line. While his average yards per punt went down to 42.8 last season from his 45.8 in 2023, he still managed to land the same number of punts inside the red zone (17). Not too shabby!
