Bryce Effner joined Penn State with the 2018 recruiting class, in which he was a 3-star prospect out of Aurora, IL. In 2019, Bryce first saw time on the field, appearing in four games. For 2020, Effner is listed as third-string at right tackle behind Will Fries and Caedan Wallace. He’s got some work ahead of him to see meaningful playing time, but should get a chance in mop up duty throughout the season if nothing else.
