Penn State basketball fans received a pleasant surprise on Tuesday when it was announced that graduate transfer Curtis Jones intended to finish his career with the Nittany Lions.
This marks the second transfer for Jones, a 6-foot-4 guard from Richmond, Virginia. The former top-100 prospect began his career at Indiana and played two years for the Hoosiers before transferring to Oklahoma State.
He played one season in Stillwater where he averaged 8.1 points per game on 32.5 percetn from beyond the arc. Jones also averaged three rebounds and one assist per game.
With the likely departure of Rasir Bolton, who has entered the transfer portal, the Nittany Lions were suddenly thin in regards to backcourt depth.
