No. 6 Penn State women’s hockey uses Maddy Christian’s two-goal opening to sweep Robert Morris

Penn State has been no stranger to the win column this season. An ongoing program-record 11-0 start, 7-0 in the AHA, as well as a program-highest No. 6 USCHO ranking, have been the result of a full-team effort from the forwards all the way down to the goaltenders.

The blue and white tallied its eleventh win to its historic season-opening winning streak on Friday, defeating Robert Morris 4-0 in Game 1. The Nittany Lions returned to Clearview Arena on Saturday afternoon, hoping to continue their dominance into November.

Penn State pounced on the Colonials early and held the lead from the get-go, defeating Robert Morris 4-0, improving to 12-0 on the season and 8-0 in conference play.
