No. 6 Penn State shut out Delaware 5-0 in Game 1 last night in its first-ever meeting in program history, on the back of Grace Outwater's hat-trick. After improving to 5-0, the Nittany Lions had another opportunity to stay undefeated.
The Nittany Lions dominated Game 2, shutting out the Fightin’ Blue Hens 7-0, taking a pair of shut outs home to Happy Valley for a 6-0 start to the season.
Penn State played once again without captain Tessa Janecke. Coach Jeff Kampersal rested goaltender Katie DeSa in favor of giving his depth the opportunity between the pipes, as well.
