Penn State was not able to extend its winning streak as the Nittany Lions ran into a tough, No. 48 Iowa team.
But the Nittany Lions were able to find consolation in a close match against Nebraska. The pair of matches ended with a 4-3 score line. This also served as a wake-up call for the team in a few aspects.
"We didn't start out well in doubles and it hurt us,” coach Jeff Zinn told GoPSUSports.com. “We won 3 points relatively easy and unfortunately we just couldn't find that fourth point.”
Both matches coincidentally was decided by Christos Antonopoulos.
