The Nittany Lions were back in action on Sunday in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, hoping to bring a win home to Happy Valley after a string of losses the previous week against an offensively strong Indiana and an urgent Purdue on Friday.
Penn State took home its first win in three games, bringing home a 3-1 win to Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions won their first sets in two matches, having lost 3-0 to both Indiana and Purdue.
The first set started with back-and-forth play happening, with Penn State wanting to show a strong attacking front as well as Kennedy Martin managing to deliver three kills within the first 10 minutes.
