On Sunday, No. 24 Penn State narrowly avoided an upset to unranked Ohio State, winning in a climactic fifth set where superstar hitter Kennedy Martin tied her career-high 34 kills in the victory. To begin their last homestand of the regular season, the Nittany Lions hosted Michigan State at Rec Hall at 7 p.m., Friday.

Penn State took the reins early and didn’t look back. Setter Addie Lyon spread the wealth evenly amongst the offense, hitting .278 en route to a sweep over the Spartans.
