The No. 13 Nittany Lions enter the weekend after falling 3-1 in an in-state battle with No. 5 Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Continuing its home stretch with the Penn State Classic at Rec Hall, the blue and white are set to face Princeton at 7 p.m. tonight and Central Michigan at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Penn State has buckled through the beginning of its season, falling from national championship contenders to questioning its tournament possibility with a 4-4 record. Princeton has had a similar up-and-down season so far, sitting at 4-2.
The Tigers have only played against unranked teams, recently falling in four sets to both James Madison and Towson in a two-game losing streak.
