No. 13 Penn State women’s volleyball defeats Princeton in five-set thriller

No. 13 Penn State came into the weekend fresh off of a 3-1 loss to No. 5 Pittsburgh on Wednesday night at home. Remaining at Rec Hall for the Penn State Classic, the Nittany Lions squared off against Princeton on Friday.

The blue and white defeated the Tigers in five sets.

The blue and white started off the game just as it did against the Panthers, dropping crucial statement points with a series of errors. However, hitter Emmi Sellman got Penn State on the board, slamming the ball down for the kill for a 2-1 score.

Right-side hitter Kennedy Martin topped the kill charts with an electrifying, season-high 29 kills.
