No. 12 Penn State returned to Rec Hall to face Bucknell in the Nittany Lions’ first midweek match of the season.
The blue and white took control early and often, taking down the Bison 3-0 in dominating fashion.
After allowing the first two points, Penn State’s offense took over. Behind strong serving from defensive specialist Jocelyn Nathan, the Nittany Lions went on a 4-0 run to take a 4-2 lead.
The hitting heated up later in the opening set with another 4-0 run behind two kills from middle blocker Jordan Hopp, and a kill from outside hitters Emmi Sellman and Alexis Ewing.
