The Bryce Jordan Center housed the Lady Lions for the first time this season as they welcomed an undefeated Nebraska team. The Cornhuskers marked Penn State’s first Big Ten challenge of the season.
Heading into the matchup, Penn State held a 6-1 record, having recently defeated Yale. In Saturday’s contest, the Lady Lions saw a Cornhusker team that previously reached the NCAA Tournament in two consecutive seasons.
