Penn State running back Miles Sanders has found his NFL home after being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 53rd overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Sanders will provide immediate value to the Eagles offense as an all-purpose back with a broad skillset who can play all three downs. He also comes with limited wear-and-tear for a running back of his stature after sitting behind Saquon Barkley during two of his three seasons at Penn State.
The Pittsburgh native contributed immediately as a true freshman in 2016 as a reserve back, who also finished second in the Big Ten in kickoff return average.
