1. Saturday's effort in the red zone has to rank as one of PSU's worst in recent history. Injuries, shoddy O-line play, whatever. There is NO excuse for what transpired on three Lions' possessions that began with first downs inside the Michigan 10. The Lions had first-and-goal situations at the Wolverines' 9, 3 and 6. By my count, they ran nine total plays (five runs, four passes) and produced FIVE yards.
