Kobe King Drafted by Minnesota Vikings in Sixth Round

The “quarterback” of Penn State’s defense over the past three years is heading to Minnesota. Kobe King has been drafted by the Vikings, with the team taking him as their sixth round choice.

King arrived at Penn State along with his twin brother, Kalen, a seventh round draft choice in 2024 by the Green Bay Packers. King used a redhsirt season in 2021, but became a regular at middle linebacker during his first year of eligibility the following year. While there was an initial learning curve, King developed into a reliable presence in the middle who flashed his playmaking abilities by the end of the season.
