Kennesaw State not looking past Gardner-Webb's 1-5 record

As Chandler Burks and Kennesaw State return home off the momentum of a resounding win at Liberty, they will be wary of a Gardner-Webb team with a deceiving 1-5 record. The Bulldogs’ five losses came against four teams ranked in the Top 25 of the Football Championship Subdivision, and Wyoming of the Football Bowl Subdivision.

KENNESAW — Kennesaw State can do a few things it has never done before tonight when it returns to Fifth Third Bank Stadium to host Gardner-Webb tonight at 7 p.m.

A victory would be a program-best sixth straight win, move the Owls (5-1) to 2-0 in Big South Conference play and leave them all alone in first place.
