Penn State football tallied an early lead on Saturday night. Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer and the Nittany Lion offense took over at their own two-yard-line and shaved just over four minutes off the clock, going all the way down the field and into the end zone.
Though tight end Andrew Rappleyea put the six points on the board followed by place kicker Ryan Barker's successful extra point, running back Kaytron Allen had an explosive run that pushed him one spot higher on Penn State's all-time rushing list.
