James Franklin reveals Penn State football hasn’t discussed QB situation yet

In under two weeks, Penn State football will get their 2019 season started against Idaho. Over the last few years, the Nittany Lions haven’t had to do too much worrying about who their starting quarterback was going to be with Trace McSorley at the helm. But this year is different.

Not only is McSorley gone — but so is his supposed replacement, Tommy Stevens. Now, the Lions have been hosting an intense quarterback battle between two young prospects over the last few weeks. The most qualified candidate in the mix is redshirt Sophomore, Sean Clifford.

The younger prospect happens to be freshman quarterback, Will Levis.
