Corey Keener
Looking to extend his senior season by one more match, Corey Keener battled Northern Colorado’s Rico Montoya in the 133 pound consolation round this morning. After going ahead 2-0 early in the first period, Keener allowed an escape to bring the score to 2-1 after the first period.
Keener ran into trouble in the second, however, as Montoya caught Keener and threw him on his back directly in front of the scorers table, pinning Keener at the 4:27 mark.
