HBO recently announced a spring premiere for Paterno, its upcoming film depicting the events surrounding legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno and the fallout from the Jerry Sandusky scandal. It now has an official premiere date of Sunday, April 7.
The HBO original film stars Al Pacino as Joe Paterno, Riley Keogh as Sara Ganim, Larry Mitchell as Jay Paterno, Kathy Baker as Sue Paterno, Annie Parisse as Mary Kay Paterno, Michael Mastro as Guido D’Elia and Greg Grunberg as Scott Paterno.
