Harvey remnants might arrive for Penn State opener

The unprecedented weather phenomenon that is Tropical Storm Harvey is headed in our direction. And though the timing is uncertain and the impact is sure to be far less in Pennsylvania than it was in Texas, what's left of it could be arriving on Saturday for the Penn State football opener.

A trivial matter, to be certain, but just FYI.

People are suffering horribly in Houston metro and east Texas because the storm, as predicted quite accurately by NWS forecasters, sat virtually in the same place for four days and is only now beginning to move. That meant it had the entire Gulf of Mexico to use basically as a water tank and tapped it to throw trillions of gallons of water onto overbuilt prairie land in America's fourth largest city.
