For the fourth-straight week, a Nittany Lion is the recipient of a Big Ten Weekly Award.
This time, it's freshman phenom Gavin McKenna's turn, earning the Big Ten Third Star of the Week after his four-point weekend at Pegula Ice Arena.

McKenna tallied a goal and an assist in each of the wins over Stonehill this weekend.
The forward tallied both the game-tying goal and the primary assist on the game-winner on Friday, and added a power-play score and the assist on Shea Van Olm's first collegiate tally on Saturday.
