Outside hitters Ali Frantti and Simone Lee had a strong game against Michigan State on Friday. Frantti had ten kills and only one error in 24 total attempts, while Lee had 29 total attempts with two errors.
Frantti and Lee led the team in kills during the first set, with Frantti posting four and Lee posting six.
“I thought that [Frantti and Lee] played well offensively and I thought [Frantti] passed well,” coach Russ Rose said. “[Lee] had a good block in addition to carrying the majority of the offense.”
Frantti’s kills earned the first point in the first two sets, and Lee led the team in kills with 12 over three sets.
