Ryan Weingartner is off to the MLB.
The former Nittany Lion shortstop officially signed his full slot deal with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Weingartner was selected in the eighth round by the Cardinals in the 2025 MLB Draft, but had the decision to sign with St. Louis or return to Happy Valley for his senior year.
The Berlin, New Jersey, native tallied 11 home runs while breaking the program record with 30 steals in his lone year in the blue and white.
