Former Penn State men's hockey forward Danny Dzhaniyev signs with Idaho Steelheads

Former Nittany Lion Danny Dzhaniyev is going pro.

Dzhaniyev signed with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL, an affiliate of the Dallas Stars, on Tuesday, the team announced on X.

The New York native played four seasons at Penn State while consistently being a top scorer for the program. Dzhaniyev accumulated 93 points, 34 goals and 59 assists across 146 games.
