Former Penn State football doctor makes strong claim against James Franklin

Back in March, the Penn State football program decided to part ways with their team’s Orthopedic Physician, Scott Lynch. Months later, Dr. Lynch is now prepared to take Pennsylvania State University to court after making some strong claims in August.

According to PennLive’s Matt Miller, Scott Lynch is “seeking more than $50,000 in damages from the university in his suit.” Why exactly? Well, according to Lynch, Penn State officials violated his rights as the team doctor — specifically because James Franklin would apparently ‘pressure’ the team doctor into clearing injured players too early.
