A former Nittany Lion has found his new team.
Infielder Alec Warden has committed to VCU, he announced Thursday night via X.
Warden didn't see any action this past season after coming to Penn State as the No. 22 shortstop in Pennsylvania by Perfect Game in the 2025 class. He announced his plans to enter the transfer portal on May 18.
The Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, native has four years of eligibility remaining.
