Former men's hockey goaltender Liam Souliere announces transfer to Minnesota

Former Penn State goaltender Liam Souliere is on the move.

After previously entering the transfer portal, Souliere announced he is heading to the University of Minnesota, per his Instagram.

In four seasons with the Nittany Lions, Souliere appeared in 85 games, posting a career .897 save percentage. The Ontario, Canada, native appeared in 29 games for Penn State in 2023-24, coming on strong toward the end of the season and through the Big Ten Tournament.

Additionally, Souliere was a leader in the locker room. Teammates and coaches spoke glowingly of Souliere's competitive spirit and off-ice leadership throughout the season.
