Collegian StaffThe second class for the Centre County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame has been announced and five of the 11 inductees have ties to Penn State.
Jim Williams, Cal Emery, Carol Fultz, Nan Sichler and Fran Fisher will all be inducted on Oct. 7.
Williams played center and linebacker for Penn State in 1962 and 1963. Williams went on to coach football after his playing day were over and joined the Penn State coaching staff in 1977 where he coached the defensive line for 16 years and worked as an administrative assistant for another 12.
