Heading into this offseason, one of the holes on Penn State’s 2025-26 roster was clear. Coach Mike Rhoades acknowledged it following last season, making it a priority to add players who could help fill it.
“We want to make sure we’re getting guys that can shoot the ball in at a high clip,” Rhoades said in mid-March.
2025 guard signee Reggie Grodin can become a strong shooter for the Nittany Lions, as he knocked down 41% of his 3-point attempts with The Newman School. Paired with other traits that work well in Rhoades’ scheme, Grodin is a quality late addition to the class.
