Amidst a lot of uncertainty in Penn State Athletics, the Lady Lions earned a commitment from its highest-ranked recruit since No. 30-ranked Leilani Kapinus in the Class of 2020.
Chikae Desdunes, a four-star guard and No. 51-ranked athlete in the Class of 2026, committed to the blue and white Friday evening, marking the first Penn State commit in next year’s class.
While Desdunes’ numbers aren’t off the charts, she brings a slashing ability to the guard position, something the Lady Lions didn’t have last year.
