Rashad Robinson INT told story for JMU
James Madison cornerback Rashad Robinson, a junior from Hermitage High, looked like he was going to give up a touchdown last Saturday. East Carolina’s Jimmy Williams had two steps on Robinson in the right corner of the end zone as the pass descended.
Robinson, with his back to the line of scrimmage, closed the gap and raised his hands when Williams did. Robinson, chest-to-chest with Williams, made a remarkable interception. There’s no way he could have seen the ball before he caught it.
It was that kind of night for JMU’s defensive backs.
