It was very easy to hear Duquesne coach Dan Burt complain to the referees with 1:51 left in the third quarter at Richmond Coliseum in the Atlantic 10 Conference quarterfinals Friday night in Richmond, Va.
“That is the second time she has been hit on shots,” Burt said in reference to what he thought were fouls that were not called on his guard, Julijana Vojinovic.
The junior standout was held to three points in the second half as all-conference player Jackie Kemph had 28 points to lead No. 7-seeded Saint Louis in an upset of No. 2 seed Duquesne, 71-65.
