Penn State football has one last game before it puts the disappointing 2025 season behind. On Saturday, the Nittany Lions face Clemson in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl. This is Penn State's 57th postseason appearance, and it seeks its 34th postseason victory.
It is also the second time the blue and white make a Pinstripe Bowl appearance. They beat Boston College in 2014, 31-30 in overtime. This was former head coach James Franklin's first season leading the Nittany Lions. While interim head coach Terry Smith will handle business in his momentary position with head coach Matt Campbell watching on the sidelines, 2025's matchup also symbolizes a new Penn State era.
