Penn State football is on a two-game win streak and finally found its identity under interim head coach Terry Smith. The Nittany Lions now look ahead to their final game of the 2025 regular season at Rutgers. Unlike Penn State, the Scarlet Knights lost their previous contest, falling 42-9 to No. 1 Ohio State.
Both teams seek a .500 even overall record heading into Saturday. Rutgers is also a 5-6 team with two Big Ten wins. Aside from its non-conference slate, it beat Purdue and Maryland, two teams that rank last and third-to-last, respectively, in the conference.
