Competing for 197 spot hasn't changed dynamic between Penn State wrestling's Shakur Rasheed and Anthony Cassar

Earlier this season, Anthony Cassar asserted that in his mind he's the number one wrestler at 197 pounds for Penn State and would be for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately for Cassar, fellow junior Shakur Rasheed has a similar plan in mind, even if he didn't explicitly say it.

Rasheed rose to prominence this season after taking home Most Outstanding Wrestler honors at this year's Southern Scuffle where he went 5-0 and beat three ranked opponents in the 197-pound bracket.

That proved to be problematic for Cassar, who, before that, had beaten out former nationally ranked wrestler Matt McCutcheon to become the starter at 197.
